In preparation for my move to Gentle Hands, I completed the Australian Immunisation Course ...... unbeknownst to me at the time just how significant this would be. I simply thought that it would be good to gain a little more knowledge on infectious diseases....Hah!
I have been wonderfully tasked with organising the vaccination schedules for all the children at GH .... 70 catch up schedules. I do like a challenge!!
So ...... with my head buried in books and google......I spent [far too] many an hour comparing the schedule of Australia with the US, UK, WHO (World Health Organisation) and the Philippines. It would have been lovely if they all aligned ..... but, alas, not .... so adapting and blending the countries programmes, we [finally] have a GH Immunisation Schedule!!!!
Sometimes being OCT (Tendencies) is painful - particularly for those around you!! :)
